Events
Outhouse often hosts launches and openings in its three dedicated spaces. The Red
Room on the first floor of this renovated Georgian building is a perfect setting
for both formal and informal events. The Library is an intimate space for relatively
small gatherings of up to 20 seated, perfect for readings, media events, launches,
etc. In both the Red Room and the Library catering can be arranged.
Outhouse Theatre is our newly opened theatre space in the basement of the building
that can accommodate 70 people, is fully equipped for theatre performances (stage,
sound and light) and has its own street entrance. It is an excellent small theatre
venue and we are confident that its reputation will spread through the community
as more people encounter it, and use it. The Café, while not an event venue in itself
is where people often gather before and after events that happen in Outhouse.
Staff and management at Outhouse will do everything possible to ensure the smooth
running of events and assist organisers to deliver to the highest standard.
