Catherine Ryan makes multi-coloured abstract cityscapes using found objects that are fused together with acrylic paint. Her style evolved from a number of influences including glass design at the National College of Art and Design, a lifelong passion for colour and an interest in street art and the readymade. Catherine has exhibited widely in Ireland including the RHA annual exhibition, LCGA, Kinsale Arts Festival and most recently at KFEST (Kerry) and in group shows in the UK, France and the US. Original works are currently visible in Duke Street Gallery, Dublin 2.
