Community Groups

Outhouse organises and/or hosts a number of Peer Support Groups who meet regularly at the Centre. The aim of Peer Support Groups is to provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where our service users can explore their own issues and gain confidence in the knowledge that they are in a safe space with like-minded others

Girls Night In (Lesbian & Bisexual Women)

Meets every second Monday from 7pm to 9:30pm
Girls Night In is the perfect midweek event which has something for everyone: Regular events include movie and pizza nights, self-defense classes, skill swapping and meditation classes.

Dublin Men's Group

Meets every second Monday
Cafe social group for men (gay men of all ages)

Meets every Saturday.
Cafe social group for men (18 to 35 years of age)

BeLonG To Sunday (LGBT Youth 14-23 years)

Meets every second Sunday at 3 pm.
BeLonG To Sunday is a youth group for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender young people. This group is a great way to meet new people, make new friends and get involved in new, fun activities. Also, see

Acting Out

Meets Thursdays at 7pm.
Acting Out is the performance group drawn from LGBTQ+ community in Dublin. Based at Outhouse, Dublin the group has two strands; a community-based theatre strand with weekly classes; and a professional production strand. Acting Out was the winner of the National GALA Award for Irish Arts and Literature in 2017. Also, see

GOLD (Gay men 55+)

Meets Wednesday afternoons weekly.
Gold is a Peer Support Social Group for gay men who are 55+. The group meets in the Outhouse café for tea, cake, and chats.

LGBT Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Meets every Monday 8pm, Friday 8pm and Sunday 6.30pm.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. The LGBT AA Group Meetings are open to anyone who may have a desire to stop drinking. Also, see

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

Meets every Thursday at 8 pm.
NA is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. The group consists of recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. Please note NA meetings are not exclusively LGBT.

First Out (Lesbian and Bisexual women)

Meets the first Thursday each month.
Established in Outhouse in 2003 First Out is a Peer Support Group for women of all ages, who are questioning their sexuality or considering “coming out”.

LGBT+ Meditation

Meets every Tuesday 7pm- 9:30pm.
Heart centred meditation and mindfulness for the LGBTQ+ community and our friends. A regular, informal and relaxed meet up for people looking to get in touch with and explore their inner self in a safe and caring environment. Practices include Mindfulness, shamanic journeying, healing touch and sound bathing, forest bathing and nature grounding to name a few.
