Saturday 18th - Pride Information & Awareness Day

LGBT+ GROUPS INFORMATION DAY
12pm-4pm in the Cafe, Red Room, Library
On this day Outhouse will be saturated with LGBTQI + hubs, information stands and merch!
Come and join us at Outhouse to get the chance to find out how you can be part  of the various  LGBT+ clubs and organisations and get to know each other in our safe space.

SOAPBOX SESSIONS with Dublin Lesbian Line
1pm-3pm in the Theatre
The event is to give a platform to voices in our community that don't always get heard. Five speakers lined up to tell their own stories around the theme of courage. Hosted by DLL and Outhouse as part of Dublin Pride

Monday 20th - Terminology

THE ABC’s of LGBTQ+ WORKSHOP with ShoutOut
6pm-7pm 
An in-depth overview of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We provide a safe space for people to ask questions and get informed, and we show how small things can make a big difference for LGBTQ+ employees and demonstrate these via scenarios. We finish with an "Ask Anything" Q&A session. Everyone can learn something here. 

Tuesday 21st - Wellness

Sound bath & meditation with James Byrne
6pm-8pm in the Theatre

Sound baths are a combination of restorative yoga, meditation, and sacred sound. James Byrne is going to use Tibetan and crystal singing bowls in this session to help you enter into a deep state of relaxation.

Wednesday 22nd - Social Day

TOTE BAG WORKSHOP with Karina from Phelan Mizrahi
6pm-8pm in the Red Room
Learn how to make your own unique bag to show your personality. Karina from Phelan & Mizrahi Couture will run a tote bag workshop at the Red Room in Outhouse.

DJ SKILLS WORKSHOP with Western Girls
8pm-10pm in the Theatre
This course will be a practical one and everyone will get the opportunity to give the decks a spin and share their tunes in a friendly, encouraging and low-pressure environment.

"LEAPING LESBIANS" and other breakaway pop hits: A journey through "women's music"
6-7pm in the Theatre
In this talk, musicologist Dr Ann-Marie Hanlon (NUI Galway) will take you on a journey through the lesbian-feminist women's music movement, which originated in the United States in the early 1970s.

Thursday 23rd - Music

SONGS FROM THE BASEMENT
8-10pm in the Theatre
Hot on the heels of the 25th anniversary reissue of the band's second album 'Butterfly Effect' , SACK will perform acoustically in our basement as part of the Pride 2022 celebrations. Also appearing on the night will be fellow 'Dimple Discs' label mate KEELEY and a special appearance by GAR COX. Expect an intimate evening of stripped back splendour.

Friday 24th - Literary

BOOK READING BY PHILIPPA RYDER 
7pm - 8pm in the Library
Philippa Ryder, will be reading some pages of her book My Name is Philippa at the Outhouse LGBTQ+ Library with Cat McIlroy, LGBTQ + activist and former co-ordinator of TENI, asking questions interspersed throughout the reading.

Saturday 25th - Day of Pride

OUTHOUSE PRIDE BREAKFAST
10am - 12pm
What better way to start your Pride and fuel your day than popping into Outhouse for our famous Pride breakfast that is now a staple event in the Pride calendar. Outhouse is delighted to be kicking off the day with a continental breakfast and some delicious drinks to quench your thirst before the Parade

 
NON-ALCOHOLIC PRIDE PARTY (18+, all genders)
1pm - 5pm
For those wanting to escape the energetic, bustling and sometimes hectic nature of the Pride Parade, Outhouse are back to hosting their 'Non-alcoholic Pride Party' for those who wish to celebrate Pride in their own way and are happy to sit down, mingle and enjoy the chats with other LGBTQIA+ people in a calm and safe environment.
